Summer Reading Project
Every student at Archbishop Borders School is responsible for reading and completing a summer reading project. Incoming 6th grade students (2013-2014 5th grade) will receive two free books, The Giver by Lois Lowry and Life On The Refrigerator Door by Alice Kuipers.
Students are required to complete two (2) projects from the given list for each of the books listed above and submit the project to me at the beginning of the 2014-15 school year. Click the button below (91 Ways to Respond to Literature) to view a list of projects students may choose from.
7th grade students should visit Mrs. A's website for their summer reading project. Click the More tab above and select the main Archbishop Borders School website link to connect to Mrs. A's website. Students will submit their projects to Mrs. A.
8th grade students are required to read three (3) books of their choice during the summer. Additionally, each student must complete one (1) project from the given list of options for each book she/he has read. Please click the button below to choose a project. Projects are due to me the first day of school (August 26, 2014).
